Soundwall / Noise Wall
Population density increases accompanied by increases in real estate development lead to continual growth in demand for transportation corridors. As new highways are built and exisitng highways are improved, measures must be taken to mitigate noise and sound impacts.
The Federal Highway Administration regulates that State transportation departments must assess increased impact from traffic noise, and implement abatement measures wherever reasonable and feasible. (U.S. CFR Title 23, Part 772)
Locations that have adequate space for highway projects may choose to erect soundwalls or noise barriers before beginning the road project.
In places where space is at a premium, the noise barrier or soundwall may be erected last.
In either situation, you don't want to waste time with drill spoil removal, traffic diversion for cement trucks and mulitple days of concrete cure time.
A solution that will decrease your project costs by reducing time on site represents a breakthrough in Capital Improvement Projects design/build.
The HeliPost instant, same-day foundation used in combination with a precast concrete soundwall or noise barrier makes for high-quality, durable soundwall that can be assembled onsite.
